GH2016.2 Contains Violence

This segment does contain violence but nothing that I
don't think they would show on GH but you have been warned
Scene: Lucky's club-mostly full. At a booth sits an older
man, his teddy bear features do not disguise a keen eye
that monitors club activities as he sips the coffee in
front of him. The Morgan's arrive with Lu, Georgie, and
Brooke. After being seated and ordering drinks, Jason
excuses himself to talk to the older man.
Jason: Mike, how are you doing?
Mike:Business is pretty good. How are my honorary great
grandchildren doing?
Jason: Well, Mike is taking after his mother but Anna has
worked her way up to padlocks.
Mike: You are encouraging her aren't you?
Jason: (not answering) You want to join us for a drink later?
Mike: Yeah. (laughing) I'll check in with you guys.

The girls are chatting until Lu sees Lucky come from the
back room to the bar.
Lu: Shhh...(quietly she sneaks behind her brother covering
his eyes) Guess who?
Lucky: Hmmm. Could it be somebody who is lousy about phone
calls and worse with letters?
Lu: Oh its a good thing I love you or I would never speak to you.
Lucky: Hey Princess. ( they laugh and kiss)
Lu: what are you doing for lunch tomorrow?
Lucky: Planning on being here. why?
Lu: You can buy me and Brooke lunch.
Lucky: (looking over at the table) So that is Brooke Ashton?
Lu: yeah, we're just going to do dinner and then crash it
has been a long day.

As they are talking, Nik walks in with Stefan and Laura
following him. Lu sees Nik and runs to him, throwing
herself in his arms.
Nik: Little Sister, when are you going to learn some decorum?
Lu: (kissing both of his cheeks) When you give as good a
hug when I walk up to you! (Lu then sees Laura and Stefan
behind Nik) MOM, DAD! (she embraces them both)

Nik looks over to where Lucky is cringing and looking
away. Nik moves over to Lucky.
Nik: It still bothers you doesn't it?
Lucky: I know that he is the only father she remembers but
it still gives me a twinge.
Nik: You and Laura have made sure that she knows who her father was.
Lucky: It brings back it all back. The horrible time when
the truce was almost broken. The Spencers and the
Cassadines almost went to war again.
Nik: That era ended two days ago. She's dead and buried.
Only four of us were there and I think that was more to
make sure that she was dead than out of any kind of respect.
(Jason walks up)
Jason: What is this? Male bonding time? (the three move to
that backroom where whiskeys are poured for all)
Lucky: Just remembering when Dad and Sonny died.
Jason: (his face going rock hard) And the first time I
killed somebody.
Lucky: I was on the phone to Mom when it happened.
Nik: Luke and Laura, Alexis and Sonny at the theater.
Lucky: Mom had called from the Lobby to let me know they
were on their way home.
Nik: Luke, Sonny and Alexis were waiting outside. Your
father was smoking one of those damn cigars.
Jason: A car came by spraying bullets. Luke fell first.
Sonny pushed Alexis behind him taking the bullets that
were meant for her, all except one that ricocheted off the
wall and shattered her elbow. I was just pulling up. I saw
Alexis grab Sonny with her good arm as he fell. Blood
darkened her red dress, his blood sprayed her face.
Lucky: I heard the shots and Mom scream then she dropped
the phone and I could hear all of the commotion.
Jason: I got the plate number of the vehicle but it didn't
matter because I recognized the shooter- Harry, Sonny's
old right hand man. I called 911 on Sonny's cell phone but
they were already on their way. I could hear the sirens.
All Pause and take a drink
Jason: your mom was trying to apply pressure to Luke's
wounds but he was bleeding out faster than she could
staunch the flow. Sonny was almost gone. Alexis with her
one good arm was holding him, telling him she loved him
and that their child was safe. He knew he was dying but
his face got almost serene before he died there on the street.
Lucky: Dad made it to the hospital. Aunt Bobbie called me
when he came through the door. Lu and I arrived as he was
being rushed to surgery. Mom was dazed; its like nothing
could reach her- not even Lu. Lu was so confused. What
four year old wouldn't be? She wouldn't stop crying; Ruby
took charge of her trying to comfort her. Mom just sat in
a chair- no expression , no tears.
Nik: Bobbie had called Stefan to let him know that Alexis
was at GH but didn't tell us the details. It was like
walking into a war zone.
Lucky: My attacking him in the ER waiting room probably didn't help.
Jason : Slowed me down some. I was on the phone calling in
favors left and right trying to track down Harry and I had
to pry you off of Stefan. I got it through your thick
skull that it was Harry and a hit meant for Sonny. I could
tell you didn't believe me but you backed off a bit.
Nik: I could hear Alexis arguing with the Doctor. She was
refusing Xrays because she thought they would hurt the
baby. I didn't even know she was pregnant.
Jason: They were out celebrating. I learned my lesson.
Each time Robin told me she was pregnant we stayed home.
Nik: Stefan heard Alexis voice and followed it back to an
exam room. When he came back to the waiting room he saw
Laura for the first time. She was sitting there the blood
drying on her dress, her hands stained with it, her eyes
vacant. I thought he was going to collapse. It was as if
he had seen a picture of hell.
Jason: I found out where Harry was before Luke came out of
surgery. I pulled Stefan aside to tell him to make sure
you (nodding to Lucky) didn't follow me. He seemed to be
in control of the room by then.
Nik: I saw the two of you talking but he wouldn't tell me
about what. Mike walked in then. He talked to Mike
Lucky: Mike stuck to me like glue. I could see his grief
but he stuck by me. He was there when Alan came out to say
that Dad hadn't made it. Mom and Ruby both lost it then; I
did too. Lu walked up to stefan and grabbed his pants leg.
Nik: I don't know why but I can still remember the look on
his face as he lifted her into his arms and dried her
tears. That night things spun out of control. Stefan and I
took Laura and Lu back to the island.
Lucky: I wouldn't go... Mike finally talked me into going
back to the house.
Jason: When I met up with Harry, he seemed to be expecting
me. I told him that Luke and Sonny were dead and so was
he. Before he died he told me that Sonny wasn't the
target; it had been Luke and Alexis. That slowed me down
for a minute and then he explained: his damn retirement
fund. Helena had hired him to kill Alexis and Luke. Luke
to stir up trouble and Alexis because Helena felt that she
had betrayed the family. Stefan and I arranged for her to
wake up the next morning with Harry's corpse beside her.

Silence falls over the three men as they remembered the
dark days that followed. From the club they hear cheering
and clapping. Shaking off the memories they move to the
main room.
Lucky: Damn. That may sell a lot of cold beverages but I
don't think my license covers this. Just my luck the DA
and the police commissioner are both here.
Nik: Who is dancing with Lu and where did she learn those moves?
Jason: Well that is my cousin Brooke and her idiot uncle Dylan.
Nik: I think a change of music is called for... NOW.
