GH2016.17 Never Forgive, Never Forgotten

Morgan Home:Jason is in Brooklyn working. Robin is still in Thailand.
Stone is babysitting little Anna and is working on a puzzle with her.

Anna: Will you marry me when I grow up?
Stone: I'm too old for you. When you are ready to get married I won't
be able to keep up with you.
Anna: Mr Saunders loves me but it is a secret.
Stone:Anna, everyone loves you why should it be a secret?
Anna: He says that I am his special girl. He kisses me like Daddy
kisses Mama.
Stone: (pauses in putting in a puzzle piece)hmmmm (Anna starts telling
Stone in graphic detail the other things Mr Saunders had her do. Stone
gets paler and paler a puzzle piece crumbling in his fist)
Anna: Stone, you broke the puzzle.
Stone: I forgot to call my mom to let her know where I am. I'll be
back in a second. (Stone goes to a private area an calls his mother.) Mom,
there is trouble, big trouble. Is Tom there?...Okay, could you call cousin
Gina over also?...Anna and I are on our way. Anna, let's go over to my house;
I've got better puzzles anyway and I owe you one now. Mrs. Landers, Anna
and I are going to my house. Mom will call you.

At the Hardy house a brief time later Anna and Stone walk in . Tom is
on the couch. He looks up as his step son walks in.

Stone: Where is Mom?
Tom: She is in the kitchen with Gina.
Stone: I am going to get some hot chocolate for us Anna. I'll be back in a
second. (Stone walks into the kitchen.)
Alexis: Hi honey, so what is the big trouble?
Stone: (not knowing any other way) One of Anna's teachers has been
sexually abusing her. She was telling me things she shouldn't have
known that she couldn't have known. I didn't know what to do. I just
knew that you and Gina had to talk to her. (both women are silent)
Gina:(finally) I'll need to get my work bag. I've got my tape
recorder in there. (Stone goes back into the living room. Later Gina comes into
the living room and takes Anna into Tom's study. When Alexis comes from
the kitchen only Tom is in the room.)
Alexis: Where is Stone?
Tom: He told Anna we didn't have any marshmallows and then he left.
Alexis: Oh God, what is he going to do?
Tom: What is going on?
Alexis: Anna told him things, horrible things. He believes she was
sexually abused. That is why Gina is talking to her. (Alexis starts
to pace in front of the window her eyes going from the closed study
door to the front door.)

General Hospital ER: Tom Hardy jr is finishing up his shift when he
realizes his next patient is someone he knows.

Jr: Bruce, What happened to you? A riot at a football game?
Bruce: It was the weirdest thing, someone jumped me. he must have
been on drugs. Jr: Well, it looks as if he did a tap dance on your face. Lets get
that wrist immobilized and look at what else is going on. Where else does
it hurt? Bruce: Tom, everything hurts, I think I got hit with some of the
pepper spray that they hit the guy with.

A Holding Cell at the PortCharles Jail: Despite the smell of fresh
paint the walls are defaced with graffiti. The cell also smells of unwashed
bodies and industrial pine cleaner. A young punk who just entered the cell
looks around him and sees a young man sitting alone on a bench. Thinking to
move himself up the criminal pecking order he moves to hassle the
young man.

Con: Don't!
Punk: What? (in a snarl that ends abruptly as he sees who is talking
to him. The con is a big man with jail house tattoos covering him from
knuckles to shoulders.)
Con: Look at him. (the punk looks at the young man and feels the waves of
rage emanating from him. The hair goes up on the back of his neck.
Looking around he sees for the first time that all the occupants of
the cell are on one side of the room and except for a few mutters and
the snores of a drunk the cell is silent.) He's in the box. I've
seen guys like him in the joint. He wants someone dead and if he can't get the one he wants; he'll take who he can get. (The punk sits down next to the con)
Punk: What is the story?
Con: I don't know. Even the cops and corrections officers see it
though.
They took the cuffs off and put him in here. He hasn't spoken a word,
no phone calls, nothing. I heard the cop telling the CO seems he jumped
somebody, right in front of the cop. Cop pepper sprayed him and it
didn't slow him down. Took 4 people to wrestle him off the guy even then he
stomped the guys wrist and was kicking at the guy. They thought drugs
the way that he was raving but as soon as they put the cuffs on him-
total silence. If he were talking I guess they'd call him John Doe.
Punk: But they put a live gernade in here!
Con: Yeah, I guess they figure the pin is in unless someone is stupid
enough to pull it.

The Brownstone: Maxie's apartment

Jr: Maxie, where are you?
Maxie: (calling out distractedly) In here.
Jr: (going to the fridge first afterall this was like a second home to
him) Guy from my church was brought in tonight at the end of shift. Looked
like he had been hit by a truck. Broken wrist, bruised kidney, both eyes
blackened, broken nose, I think that I must have put 40 stitches in
his face.
Maxie: Bruce
Jr: How did you know?
Maxie: I was there; I saw it. It was at the soph football game.
Bruce is one of the coaches. He came up and just started pummeling Bruce. One of the security guards sprayed him but he just kept coming. Kept
screaming at him and beating him. I'd never seen anything like it
before; it took the coaching staff to pull him off Bruce.
Jr: Maxie, that is awful. Was the guy on drugs?
Maxie: I wondered at the time. It freaked me out; I came home....
Georgie called she'll be back from China in a few days. I was so distracted;
I told her about the fight, all the things he was screaming. She knew it was
Bruce before I ever said his name. She said," so someone finally
caught Saunders." I asked her what she meant She called him a child
molester, basically repeating everything that boy had been screaming.
I asked her how she knew (Maxie starts to sob) she knew because Bruce had done the same thing to her.
Jr: This can't be right; it can't. He is a member of my church.
Maxie, he is the youth group leader for goodness sake! (then he realizes what he
just said) He is the youth group leader.
Maxie: And he has been doing this for years. Georgie said he started
putting his hands on her when she was seven. Fifteen years, Tom,
fifteen. She never told, she never told anyone.
Jr: (Giving Maxie a hug) But why?
Maxie: I was away at college. Dad had just left again. Georgie
adores Dad and she blamed mom for the split up. This is going to kill
Mom. She didn't feel like she could tell anyone. (crying harder) Tom,
you know who beat Bruce up.

The PC Jail holding cell. The young man begins to look around him, he
unclentches his fists. He sees the phone on the wall and walks over
to it. All ears listen as he makes his collect call.

"I'm fine....no, he is still breathing... I don't care who hears
me... How is Anna?... Why is Michael there?...Did he touch Michael
too? Does uncle Jason know yet? I don't know what the charges are...
How soonbefore you can bail me out?...No, Mom I won't kill him. Let the
system handle it; what a joke. I'm the one in jail and he is out
there... Okay, Okay. I'll see you in a little bit."

How many of you are going to make bail?" (looking around he sees that
a good portion won't) "The guy's name is Bruce Saunders. He is a child
molester. Spread the word. I don't care if he has a fair trial. I
don't care if he ever makes it to trial."

With that Stone Corinthos sits back on the bench and waits for his
attorney to arrive.
